Additional Information
Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE
In this position, you will work within the E-Mobility Business Unit and will be based in Amsterdam, Berlin and/or Stockholm. We offer flexible part-time work from home. Regular travel is expected.
Vattenfall E-Mobility procures electricity that is sold via charge points that we own and operate. Sourcing is done from internal suppliers, with separate contracts in Sweden, Germany and the Netherlands. As our Specialist Energy Sourcing E-Mobility, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our electricity procurement contracts. This means negotiating terms and conditions and executing contracts.
A second area of activity is managing our positions in renewable energy units (HBE / THG). By charging renewable energy into electric vehicles, we create renewable energy units. These units have a commercial value and the positions need to be optimised. This is done through both internal and external channels.
You will work closely with our position forecasting and price analyst. Our medium-term goal is to actively manage the imbalance and shape exposure within the BU’s books. We see the need to make our procurement portfolio compatible with smart charging and dynamic pricing. A good interface between accurate forecasting and position management is therefore essential. Good sourcing control is essential to maximise the value of our assets.
You will report to the Director Value Management & Governance.
