Location: Luxury 3 AA Rosette Hotel, Skipton, North Yorkshire
Salary: 37,000 inc bonus and service charge
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a similar high-end, fine dining environment.
- Strong culinary skills and a passion for producing high-quality, creative dishes.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities, with the capacity to inspire and mentor a team.
- Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen management practices.

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking an ambitious and talented Sous Chef to join our award-winning 3 AA Rosette restaurant in a stunning luxury hotel in Skipton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional food and pushing culinary boundaries.
As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to manage a dedicated kitchen team, contribute to menu development, and ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation. You will be responsible for maintaining a positive and productive work environment, mentoring junior chefs, and assisting in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the Head Chef in leading the kitchen team to deliver outstanding culinary experiences.
- Assist in creating innovative menus that reflect the restaurant’s high standards and seasonal produce.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
- Oversee kitchen operations, including stock control, hygiene, and safety procedures.
- Train, develop, and motivate junior chefs, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service and exceptional guest satisfaction.
