The Role
An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Sous Chef in our Banquet department. In this key role, you will support the Head Chef in all aspects of the kitchen, working with the highest quality ingredients to ensure that food service standards are met.

What we are looking for:

  • Actively contribute ideas and suggestions regarding new menus, recipes, and ways of improving consistency, product, revenue performance and the overall smooth operation of the kitchen
  • Oversee a smooth running of banquets buffet catering, canapés and plated menus.
  • Manage kitchen staff to ensure they adhere to food safety and hygiene standards and provide a consistent, high-quality product for the guest.
  • Ordering and managing inventory

Talent Profile

  • You must have 1 year experience in a similar role or 3 years as a Chef De Partie within a 5-star hotel
  • Possess a strong background in HACCP
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is necessary.
