Falco Bakery - Made Well Group

As Sous Chef, you are responsible for supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day operations. You are required to manage the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef, ensuring you and your team are always delivering high-quality products.

  • Evenings off
  • Working closely with the owners of the business

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating a positive and collaborative working environment by providing support and training to your team
  • Oversee your team to ensure the prep is up to standard, ensuring you are delivering high-quality products at all times
  • Monitor and maintain the kitchen’s overall cleanliness
  • Effectively use and properly maintain all systems
  • Monitor stock levels and order accurately for the next day, in particular, in the absence of the Savoury Lead
  • Maintain the site’s overall cleanliness by regularly inspecting all areas, taking action where maintenance or cleaning is required
  • Develop and maintain food safety and health & safety standards to ensure a safe working environment
