Description:
Lilienblum is our new modern Mediterranean family style sharing restaurant, which opened in May this year in Shoreditch. We are currently looking for a Sous Chef to join the Culinary crew.
The restaurant is open Tuesday - Saturday for dinner only. The restaurant is then available for private hire on Sundays and Mondays.

Your key responsibilities will be to work alongside the Head Chef to manage daily kitchen activities, including overseeing the brigade, aiding with menu preparation, ensuring food quality and freshness, and monitoring ordering and stock control. You will ensure that everything that leaves the kitchen is of a high quality and consistency by following designated recipes.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the day-to-day operations and activities within the kitchen ensuring the team deliver exceptional food for our guests in line with the brand guidelines
- Preparing weekly schedules for the culinary team in line with labour budgets and revenue forecasts
- Reviewing sales and food costs and GP’s and reconciling any discrepancies with our accounting system
- Participating and inputting towards food and beverage activities helping to build and deliver innovative activations and local relationships with our neighbours where appropriate to drive sales
- Making continual improvements to the running of the kitchen, ensuring it is constantly developing and achieving the set annual objectives
- Maintaining all department control procedures the kitchen to ensure the safe delivery of all food and beverage related products in line with UK food safety and health and safety legislation
- You will be reporting to the Head Chef
