Responsibilities:
- Consistently deliver high-quality dishes
- In collaboration with the Head Chef and Owner develop and design seasonal menus that reflect our commitment to local produce
- Assist in kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and cost control
- Train and mentor junior staff, sharing your culinary knowledge and expertise
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management, and front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests
Qualifications and personal attributes:
- You must be passionate about food!
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or CDP
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing team members
- Creative flair and a keen eye for detail in dish presentation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure with grace
