Noel Leeming Commercial is a key priority for The Warehouse Group and we are now looking for a Southern Sales Lead to join us on our mission to create New Zealand’s most sustainable, convenient and customer-first commercial business.
Job Description
Reporting into the National Sales Lead & working closely with the wider Commercial team, Regional Managers and stores, your key objective as Sales Lead will be to lead the growth in commercial sales & revenue streams in the South Island. You will directly manage a team of high-performing sales professionals, coaching & mentoring them to identify, develop and grow new revenue streams and source commercial sales for the retail network.
The Southern Sales Lead is responsible overall for managing business relationships from a day-to-day perspective to ensure that sales are maximised and account relationships are maintained. It is imperative that you maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively manage current client relationships.
Your responsibilities:
- Contribute towards the creation of the national field sales strategy and implement within region.
- Develop a strong sales team by monitoring KPIs and providing on the job coaching and mentoring
- Create a culture that strives on delivering Sales Operational Excellence by understanding the teams systems, tools, processes, data and reporting
- Work with Sector Leads to ensure that the sector strategy meets the need for the region based on customer needs
- Meet with Noel Leeming Regional Lead monthly to review performance and take appropriate action to optimise opportunities
- Meet with The Warehouse/Warehouse Stationery Regional Leads quarterly to discuss commercial opportunities within region.
- Support the team by attending Key Customer Account meetings where required.
