Spa Beauty Therapist/ Spa Massage Therapist

Main Duties: We are currently seeking a skilled and confident Spa / Massage Therapist to join our team at The Cambridge Country Club & Spa.
As a Spa Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional massage and/or beauty treatments to our guests and members, ensuring a personalised and bespoke experience.

GUEST EXPERIENCE AND/OR SERVICE DELIVERY

• To provide a courteous, efficient and professional service at all times guaranteeing guests an enjoyable and memorable experience.
• Constantly strive to increase guest satisfaction through quality, creativity, range and value for money available throughout the Club
• To have a thorough knowledge of Golf, Spa and Fitness departments as well as other applicable services offered by the Club.
• To confidently recommend and up sell Spa services, retail products and fitness services to guests. Try to rebook them where ever possible.
• To be completely knowledgeable about all the retail products and personally familiar with all treatments offered at the spa.
• To organise treatment rooms set up to The Clubs Standards.
• To treat bookings and clients with complete tact, discretion and confidentiality at all times.
• Carry out any additional tasks deemed necessary by the Spa Manager

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a Spa Beauty Therapist/Spa Massage Therapist, showcasing expertise in massage and/or beauty treatments.
• Certification or qualification in relevant therapies, such as massage, aromatherapy, or beauty.
• Familiarity with the Elemis brand and previous experience working with their products is advantageous.
• NVQ Level 2 Beauty Therapy or Body Massage Qualification
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with guests and members.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

• Provide a wide range of massage and beauty treatments to guests and members, maintaining a high standard of service.
• Utilise the luxurious Elemis brand products for treatments and be proficient in their application.
• Offer personalised recommendations and advice on treatments, ensuring a tailored experience for each individual.
• Promote retail opportunities and generate additional revenue through product sales.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all hygiene and safety regulations.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new treatments, and techniques, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge.
• Build strong relationships with guests and members, providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming environment.
