Hand & Stone Spa Managers lead and motivate a team of RMTs, Estheticians and Spa Associates to provide outstanding client services and reach or exceed sales goals. Spa Managers are dynamic, dedicated and enthusiastic leaders that seek out team training opportunities, implement client service programs and establish efficient processes that empower the team to achieve an outstanding client experience.
As our Spa Manager, you’ll operate like an owner-operator, mastering all aspects of spa operations while ensuring an exceptional client experience. We’re looking for someone with a background as an esthetician or massage therapist who also has strong leadership and ownership skills. You’ll work closely with our facial and massage team to drive business growth, manage marketing initiatives, and ensure seamless operations.
REQUIREMENTS
- Lead, coach, train and set expectations for a team of spa service professionals
- Demonstrate ability to balance coaching with discipline
- Manage, coach and train team on selling spa services and products to reach or exceed financial goals
- Manage, coach and train team on cost management best practices
- Manage administrative tasks including being a Spa Associate when required but not limited to payroll, scheduling, inventory and reporting
- Knowledge and good understanding about skin care services and products
- Flexibility, adaptability, and commitment to the growth of the spa (clock-watchers need not apply!)Tech-savvy with the ability to leverage digital tools to enhance services, develop staff, and improve client experiences
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 years experience in spa industry in a leadership role
- Excellent knowledge of spa services and retail operations
- Ability to meet or exceed sales goals
- Strong desire to provide, train and deliver outstanding customer service
- Deep knowledge and understanding of spa services and product line with strong capacity to sell these to clients
- Ability to work flexible schedule including days / evenings / weekends / split shifts and holidaysBackground as an esthetician or massage therapist, with proven leadership and ownership skills
