Description:

We are so proud to announce we are currently recruiting for a goals oriented and dynamic Spa Operations Manager at the Spa at Ashford Castle, Irelands First Forbes 5 star resort property. The successful candidate will have responsibility for supporting the Director of Spa and Wellness in the Operational running of the Spa & Salon experience, with attention to the service and product inventory at The Spa at Ashford Castle.

The role is operations focused with the accountability of running the spa day to day. This will encompass:

  • Ensuring the exceptional guest service delivery of a ‘Forbes 5 star hotel’.
  • Managing our people and performance to a 5 star standard.
  • Focus on team development and training.
  • Managing sales, budgets and marketing strategies
  • Efficient communications.

Key Responsibilities of the successful Spa Operation Manager will include but are not limited to:

  • To ensure the team provides each guest with the highest levels of personal care and attention in accordance with 5 star expectations ‘ Forbes 5 star Standards’, the uniqueness of the property and Red Carnation Hotels.
  • Complete 1-1 meetings and appraisals with team members as per schedule in department.
  • To initiate ‘little touches’ – going beyond meeting guest expectations and in all instances exceeding them.
  • Efficient and professional service, staff training, motivation, standards and controls. To comply with Red Carnation Top 12 Service Standards, terms and conditions of employment and operational practices and procedures.
  • Interviewing and Hiring of Employees with the appropriate skills to meet the business needs of the operation.
