Fota Island Resort are looking for a Spa Receptionist to join their team in the renowned Island Spa.
Responsibilities:
- Handle enquiries for the spa and convert to bookings
- Merging all guest profiles
- Ensuring phone numbers are in the right format.
- Making sure guests credit card details are removed daily.
- Fill in the daily report.
- Check res diary daily.
- Check massage quota daily.
- Utilize the screen.
- Review packages on a weekly basis to ensure bookings are made correctly
- Schedule reservations of spa services for guests and monitor availability of treatments and staff to ensure prompt service according to the relevant skills of the therapists whilst maximizing use of time, room occupancy and profitability.
- Close out hotel packages weekly i.e. Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays.
- To adhere to an agreed reporting system on a timely basis
- Display a complete knowledge of the treatments and services offered, and any promotions that may be on offer at the time.
- To welcome guests and answer all enquiries observing set standards and with patience.
- To be responsible for billing procedures at the reception desk and the correct reconciliation of funds at the close of each shift and at the end of the day’s work.
- Complete daily opening procedures and check lists per relevant area daily.
- To ensure a warm friendly welcome to all clientele at all times
- To co-ordinate guests’ consultation records with the Therapists.
- To ensure that all operational procedures, codes of conduct and standards of appearance are implemented and adhered to.
- Assist with administration duties such as, purchasing, receiving and inventory reporting.
