Description:
Responsibilities:
- Systems Engineering and Technical Advising: The (SETA) Engineer will contribute to government’s mission success through end-to-end analysis, thought leadership and proactive action.
- Space Operations: conduct threat assessments and develop courses of actions; develop tactics, techniques, and procedures to support operational objectives.
- Space Protection (SP): Assess mission and space protection doctrine, strategies, and plans; provide vetted analysis and recommendations to improve SP architectures and capabilities.
- War Game/Exercise Planning: Monitor, evaluate and potentially participate in war games and exercises; assess lessons learned for best practice implementation for improvement.
- Integration Oversight: oversee space protection functions and capabilities of delivered systems; provide analysis of schedules, capabilities delivered meet operational needs.
- Communications/Briefing Management: Review documentation, represent government as required in forums that support streamlined delivery of new capabilities and standardization of integration efforts.
