Spanish Speaking Nursery Nurse

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

We are seeking a compassionate individual with a passion for early childhood education. The ideal candidate will have:

• Fluency in both Spanish and English (spoken and written).
• A recognised childcare qualification (NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent).
• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of child development and early years curriculum.
• Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
• Current DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

THE ROLE:

We are looking for a caring and dedicated Nursery Nurse who is fluent in Spanish to join our team. You will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children within our nursery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues in both Spanish and English.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and activities.
• Support children’s individual learning and development needs.
• Adhere to all nursery policies and procedures regarding health and safety and child protection.
