Responsibilities:

  • Update, maintain, organize and coordinate the release of tools and spare parts.
  • Read catalogs, microfiche viewers, or computer displays in order to determine replacement part stock numbers and prices.
  • Expedite purchase orders of tools and spare parts.
  • Determine replacement parts required, according to inspections of old parts, Client’s requests, or client’s descriptions of malfunctions.
  • Receive and fill telephone orders for parts.
  • Fill customer orders from stock.
  • Prepare sales slips or sales contracts.
  • Take inventory of stock.
  • Advice customers on substitution or modification of parts when identical replacements are not available.
  • Examine returned parts for defects, and exchange defective parts or refund money.
  • Constantly update spare parts inventory in the stock room by entering releases and deliveries of spare parts in current computerized system.
  • Maintain spare parts room organized and clean.
  • Communicate with and receive vendors in order to obtain quotations and or procure spare parts.
  • Follow up purchase orders for prompt or target date delivery.
  • Receive and deliver tools and parts according with established procedures.
  • Strictly follow company’s safety and cGMP policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by direct supervisor to support normal operations.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
    EDUCATIONAL or EQUIVALENT REQUIREMENTS:
    Technical Degree in a relevant mechanical discipline or related field with equivalent industrial experience or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
