NOTE: This is a full-time in-person role based in the company’s headquarters in Miami FL Applicants must be available to work in Miami– Thursday with work from home on Friday

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources industrial relations or business administration

- Minimum of 2 years of generalist experience in human resourcesExercises influence with business clients and HR centers of excellence

- Excellent persuasive verbal and written communication skillsCritical and conceptual thinking to drive objectivity and data-based decision making
- The ability to respond to shifts in the business environment adapt and change course when necessary
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to find alternative solutions (think outside of the box) to business inquiries as appropriate
- Insures high level of confidentiality in all aspects of work
- The ability to handle analyze
- interpret and communicate data effectively and responsibly to drive business outcomesProficient in MS office suite
- SuccessFactors or other HR enterprise software

Responsibilities:

First line of HR support to the business consulting on general HR questions benefits inquiries engaging with HR manager when appropriate

  • Collaborates with managers and HRBP in preparation of disciplinary actions and or performance improvement plans
  • Works closely with business leaders and recruitment on position management and maintains internal systems (including processing position management opening requisitions)
  • Pulls reports and maintains reports on the status of requisitions/positions for assigned business unit
  • Supports HR team with workforce changes resulting in terminations reports to location cost center changes etc Additionally is responsible for the system transactions for these changes
  • Prepares materials for pulse survey talent reviews and year-end appraisal processesActs as a cultural change agent for HR transformation
  • Prepares internal offer and promotion letters and retains documentation in employee file
  • Participates in talent reviews succession planning
  • engagement action planning and other HR initiatives to support the HRBPsCoordinates the new hire experience for assigned area(s) Provides onboarding support facilitates department-specific new hire orientation and conducts new hire check ins

    • Creates and maintains area-specific recognition program and/or newsletter in support of engagement and the employee experienceConducts exit interviews supports offboarding and maintains tracking/data insights
  • Support HRBPs with the coordination of department specific HR projects; create and maintain project plan and prepare updates to HRBP as needed
