JOB OVERVIEW

Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Awal (KBZA) School is currently seeking to recruit a high-performing Special Education Needs-Teacher Assistant to join the team.

The successful candidate should have:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from an accredited academic institution, (with specialization in the assigned area of responsibility).
• Any post-secondary education, such as an associate degree or coursework related to education, child development, or a specific subject area can be considered.
• Previous experience working with SEN students, especially in an educational setting.
• Experience in assisting teachers or supporting educational programs can be advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and parents.
• Organizational skills to assist in lesson preparation, materials management, and record keeping.
• Patience, flexibility, and adaptability to work in a dynamic and sometimes challenging educational environment.
• Basic knowledge of educational technology and software.
• To be able to maintain confidentiality.
