POSITION SUMMARY

The Special Projects Manager will play a critical role in driving the success of product line campaigns. They will coordinate the production, packaging, and launch of new and existing special projects and products. They will help with the planning and execution of numerous projects, strategically delegating tasks, creating and managing timelines, and ensuring that all stakeholders have what is needed to produce their best work.
The Special Projects Manager will effectively be a cross-functional liaison between multiple departments, and their leaders, and contribute to ProCaps’ overall focus on delivering unsurpassed purity, quality, and integrity in our products, and our unwavering commitment to our customers and the environment.

Located in Henderson, Nevada, near the exciting and diverse community of Las Vegas, ProCaps Laboratories is a large and rapidly growing manufacturer with approximately 350 employees that markets several hundred dietary supplement SKUs, along with an expanding line of functional foods (bars, packets, bottles, etc.)

WHAT YOU BRING (MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, science, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong Project Management skills and experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  • Highly: Intelligent, Articulate, Organized, Detail Oriented, Analytical
  • Experience in product management within the vitamin, dietary supplement, or related industries is a strong plus.
  • Deep understanding of the lifecycle of a product, from ideation to distribution.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making and results.
  • Self-Starter and Deadline Focused
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation, solutions, and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards for dietary supplements is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Plan and execute numerous projects, delegating tasks, creating and managing timelines, and ensuring all stakeholders have everything they need to produce their best work, delivering timely results.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Work with Marketing to get informed direction on market strategy and product needs and timelines. Get analysis and strategy from Marketing to help plan for the production, packaging, and distribution of products.
  • Product Strategy: Work with the Director of Product Administration to develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product campaign lifecycle from ideation to commercialization, including product planning, assembly, distribution, pricing, and forecasting.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate product campaign launches, including labor support (including co-manufacturers), scheduling, production, packaging, and distribution.
  • Sales Support: Ensure Call Center teams receive product training, information materials, and support to drive product awareness and sales growth.
