Description:

At SimplyBiz, we’re looking for a Specialist Advice Quality Consultant join our Advice Quality Team, where you’ll work effectively and efficiently in the completion of desk-based file checking for our member firms across the full range of financial services products. You will focus particularly on specialist products VCT/EIS, IHT/Trusts, Later Life Planning and Defined Benefit Pension Transfers/Safeguarded Benefits. You’ll support the Advice Quality Team Manager, members and clients and work proactively to ensure continuous improvement in the delivery of our services, adding value to our firms and our overall business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on complex reviews for consideration as part of due diligence projects and analyse, prepare and deliver reporting requirements for the client or member.
  • Prepare effective concise feedback in line with the regulatory compliance and our internal standards.
  • Work effectively as part of the Advice Quality management team to ensure that the pipeline is managed and cases returned to members and clients within service level agreements.
  • Dealing with member and clients’ queries and providing support to the firms to add value where we can to the benefit of both members and the business, from a practical and technology perspective.
  • Be proactive in the consideration of process improvements to enhance the member and client experience and for the benefit of the business.
  • Support the AQT Manager with case management, training and preparation of relevant MI reporting for the Director of Advice Quality.
  • Work efficiently in order to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Prepare and provide training and feedback to the team or individuals.
  • Be able to work with staff at all levels, including internal and external Directors and Senior Management.
  • Play an active part in the team, carrying out work to enhance the service offering and ensuring information, knowledge, experience and innovation is shared across the business.
