Working with the other Specialist Commissioners in the commissioning service, you will ensure appropriate integration with the other thematic areas within the services for adult social care, children’s health, children’s social care and public health portfolios.
With particular reference to Residential, Nursing, Homecare, Extra Care, Reablement and Discharge to Assess you will review our current offer in line with the Trafford Locality Plan which summarises our ambition to support people to live at home for longer by ensuring more robust locality-based services which will reduce the need for more restrictive services, reduce hospital admissions and provide a step-down offer of support.
You must be able to demonstrate experience in managing and developing services, alongside leadership abilities and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You should also have a minimum of 2 years’ management experience, ideally within the residential, nursing, homecare or commissioning sector and hold a minimum of a degree or other recognised professional qualification. Project management experience is required for this post.
