Description:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 - 4 years of experience in corporate affairs, marketing, communications, public affairs, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Experience with graphic design programs (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.).
  • Experience with email marketing program (MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc.).
  • Strong project management and administrative skills.
  • Details oriented and ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and deliver impactful presentations.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical skills, capable of identifying trends, anticipating issues, and developing proactive solutions.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and media monitoring/analysis software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Track and support the implementation of corporate affairs strategies and initiatives related to marketing, communications, and customer relations;
  • Perform a range of administrative and operational tasks including but not limited to preparing internal and external communications, developing a content strategy/calendar, tracking and reporting against key milestones, managing and updating external and internal communication channels, ensuring content and documents are current;
  • Department budget monitoring, tracking and reporting;
  • Support alignment with brand objectives and target audiences, while also ensuring brand consistency and continuity;
  • Project management and administrative support for communication initiatives, events and other strategic initiatives;
  • Develop networks and build internal relationships by engaging in cross-functional activities and collaborating with various departments and teams;
  • Support development of graphics, animations and written content for various stakeholder and communication channels;
  • Respond to inquiries and requests from stakeholders in a timely and professional manner, demonstrating excellent communication and customer service skills;
  • Contribute to the corporate affairs calendar/scheduling;
  • Organize and facilitate working group and stakeholder presentations via Zoom/Teams, forums, and events;
  • Other administrative tasks, as required.
