QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Master s degree in Social Work or Counseling
- Experience with NJSAMS
- One year of experience working in the addictions field
- All new hires who are in recovery must attest to having one year of sobriety and abstinence and are required to sign an Affidavit of Recovery
- Must comply with TRMC paid state-level criminal history record background check supported by fingerprint check prior to hire

- Shift working, 8-4pm

Responsibilities:
- Conducts substance abuse and mental health intakes for DSRIP patients who agree to treatment
- Runs group therapy sessions
- Provides individual treatment for patients and families
- Completes clinical notes, treatment plans and discharge summaries according to established policies and procedures
- Facilitates linkages/case-management for patients on clinician s caseload
- Communicates with referral agencies, at a minimum, every month using a schedule of monthly call list
- Completes weekly DSRIP data report on patient outcomes
- Completes satisfaction surveys with patients receiving treatment at TRMC
- Conducts field outreach with TRMC van to patient s homes, local shelters and/or bus/train stations when necessary
- Facilitate groups specific to gambling
- Carries a caseload of any individuals identified at Intake to have a gambling disorder
- Clinically conducts individual sessions to directly focus on addressing gambling disorder diagnosis
- Completes intakes as scheduled
- Attends weekly clinical team and monthly unit meetings
- Provides coverage when necessary for program director
