QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Master s degree in Social Work or Counseling
  • Experience with NJSAMS
  • One year of experience working in the addictions field
  • All new hires who are in recovery must attest to having one year of sobriety and abstinence and are required to sign an Affidavit of Recovery
  • Must comply with TRMC paid state-level criminal history record background check supported by fingerprint check prior to hire

  • Shift working, 8-4pm
  • Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts substance abuse and mental health intakes for DSRIP patients who agree to treatment
  • Runs group therapy sessions
  • Provides individual treatment for patients and families
  • Completes clinical notes, treatment plans and discharge summaries according to established policies and procedures
  • Facilitates linkages/case-management for patients on clinician s caseload
  • Communicates with referral agencies, at a minimum, every month using a schedule of monthly call list
  • Completes weekly DSRIP data report on patient outcomes
  • Completes satisfaction surveys with patients receiving treatment at TRMC
  • Conducts field outreach with TRMC van to patient s homes, local shelters and/or bus/train stations when necessary
  • Facilitate groups specific to gambling
  • Carries a caseload of any individuals identified at Intake to have a gambling disorder
  • Clinically conducts individual sessions to directly focus on addressing gambling disorder diagnosis
  • Completes intakes as scheduled
  • Attends weekly clinical team and monthly unit meetings
  • Provides coverage when necessary for program director
