Description:

We are seeking a high energy and innovative professional to join the Corporate Strategy team and support our market intelligence efforts. In this position, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate strategic insights and recommendations for enterprise-level actions based on market trends, client behaviors, and competitive landscapes. This includes supporting various strategic projects that will provide market intelligence to drive growth and competitiveness, and help Nasdaq achieve its vision of becoming the trusted fabric of the financial system.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to develop and execute comprehensive market intelligence strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Utilize various data sources and analytical tools to gather strategic intelligence including competitor chessboard analysis, industry insights, customer segmentation, pricing intelligence, market trends, customer preferences, and competitive insights.
  • Generate actionable recommendations based on market intelligence findings to elevate decision-making.
  • Own the preparation of presentation materials for various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to the leadership team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to make existing intelligence and insights more strategic.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, strategic partnerships, and other long-term impacts across our ecosystem.
  • Continuously assess and improve market intelligence methodologies, processes, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Incorporate the use of Generative AI best-practices.

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of research, market intelligence, strategy consulting and/or corporate strategy experience.
  • A keen interest in learning about capital markets, financial services, and fintech strongly preferred.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker who enjoys structured problem solving across complex issues.
  • Comfortable in successfully navigating a complex corporate environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to solve problems swiftly and meet tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to adjust quickly while keeping a positive mindset; remains calm under pressure and in the face of uncertainty.
  • Must be proactive, resourceful, and demonstrate intellectual curiosity.
  • Exhibit the highest standards of integrity and be pleasant & fun to work with.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong strategic, analytical, communication, and leadership skills, as well as a solid understanding of the financial services industry and Nasdaq’s role in it.
  • Education Required: B.A. or B.S. in a business related discipline
  • Experience Required: 3-5 years of experience

The base pay range for this role is $91,000 - $151,700. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
