We are looking for a skilled colleague to join our Nordic Customer Tax Reporting team, who on a daily basis ensures that Danske Bank’s customers are taxed correctly and that Danske Bank complies with current regulatory requirements in relation to both national tax reporting (including TRACE reporting), FATCA/CRS and other reporting activities towards Tax Authorities. We also focus on continuously optimising and automating processes, both within our team and towards our many stakeholders.
You will be part of our Nordic team – Nordic Customer Tax Reporting, which consists of 12 skilled employees, working out of Finland, Sweden and Denmark. Collaboration, ownership and trust spiced with lots of good spirits are characteristic of our department. You will experience a high level of ownership and responsibility, at the same time having close collaboration with skilled colleagues in your team and in the rest of Danske Bank.
ARE YOU EXPERIENCED TAX PROFESSIONAL A GOOD MATCH?
You have a university level degree, but you may also have another background – e.g. from banking sector. You have at least 5 years of business experience within the tax area, financial sector or other relevant work area. In addition to this, we value experience within business development or project management. You have a good understanding of processes and associated risks.
We would also like you to have:
- a methodical and structured approach to solving tasks both on your own and in collaboration with others
- knowledge of financial products and services
- interest in the tax area and preferably experience in tax reporting
- Good knowledge of the Office package – especially Excel
- Fluent in both Finnish and English
Danske Bank is an international organisation, and we collaborate with several external parties, including tax authorities and local industry associations. You must therefore be familiar with Finnish tax reporting and local regulations.
Responsibilities:
Your day-to-day tasks will consist of analyses, controls and adjustments. At sector level, you will discuss and influence the implementation of new legislation, and you will then coordinate the technical and operational implementation at the Bank. Your tasks will vary in complexity and you will experience a versatile working day with a great impact on your own tasks and projects. We prioritise and ensure that everyone in the team is involved in developing the reporting area and takes responsibility for our success.
You like working across a large organisation with many stakeholders, as you will be in dialogue with colleagues across the Nordic region, Lithuania and India on an everyday basis.
