JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a keen and enthusiastic part-time ( 30 hours) Band 6 Occupational Therapist. The post holder will work with adults with learning disabilities in the Trafford area.
This role is based within the Adult CLDT Trafford, as part of the Learning Disabilities, Neuro-Developmental Disorders and Acquired brain Injury care group.
The post holder will work within the Occupational Therapy service and as a key member within the multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB

The post holder will have excellent support from the whole team and supervision from a senior OT. There will be relevant training and development opportunities within the post and also opportunities to link with other OT’s both within the Trust and Greater Manchester.
You will need to be a creative, adaptable practitioner with a strong grounding in the OT process. You need to able to take on the challenges of managing a caseload within a community setting, and be committed to the 6 Cs, team working and person-centred care.
