Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE

It is an exciting time to join our ambitious council, and our Senior Leadership Team is at the core of our ongoing transformation and are critical in achieving that ambition. Consequently, we are looking for an individual with the ability to provide support our assistant directors. You will work as part of a team of personal assistants, but will work closely with two assistant directors. There are opportunities to progress with our career grade progression scheme, as well as opportunities for training and development to support you in the role.

Some of the key activities include:

  • Confidential personal support to Senior Leaders
  • First point of contact for anyone wishing to see or speak to a Senior Leader
  • Manage calendars and meetings including organising, attending and minuting meetings
  • Advise the Director of work deadlines and commitments and direct all reports through the appropriate governance channels
  • Be responsible for the upkeep of equipment and devices used by the Senior Leadership TeamProofread documentation to be put in the public domain
