Specialist Paediatric Dietitian

To act as a lead and expert for the team and department concerning paediatrics - specific area to be discussed on appointment. To be responsible for the specialist nutrition and dietetic management of paediatric patients referred for nutritional advice in East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust (including assessment and treatment) using specialist knowledge and skills. To independently manage and treat paediatric patients in the acute and community setting under the supervision of the Lead Paediatric Dietitian. The paediatric team forms part of our close knit & supportive Dietetic Department that includes over 40 clinicians & associated staff, supporting the specialities of paediatrics, diabetes, intensive care, inpatients, acute rehabilitation, general outpatients & community nutrition support.
The department is also supported by our Primary Care Network (PCN) dietitians & we are also excited to be welcoming our first Trainee Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP) Dietitians (Oncology & Integrated Discharge Team) and Dietetic Apprentices into the team in 2023
