Description:
KEY RELATIONSHIPS:
- EM Digital activation team
- eCom Channel team
- EM South Marketing Activation team
- External Media agency
- External Creative agency
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree required, with relevant digital marketing experience (agency or client side).
- Experience working with large performance media budgets split across multiple channels and campaigns.
- Working knowledge of Google, Meta, Display, App, Affiliate and Analytics marketing platforms.
- Deliver Cross-Channel reporting.
- Review performance in Paid Media platform and propose ways to optimise.
- Keen eye for creative best practice and ability to drive high quality output from agency.
- Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing.
- Strong communication skills: written & oral and ability to quickly build strong relationships
- High attention to detail, strong analytical skills and excellent organizational & planning abilities.
- Proficient in written & spoken English.
Responsibilities:
PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION:
- Support in driving EM South business objectives via its own eCom channels.
- Assist in managing Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, Affiliate, audience management and creative to establish the adidas owned digital channels as the online destination of choice for consumers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enable the implementation of Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, Affiliate, audience management strategies and more for South Africa.
- Manage the relationship with creative agencies to drive on-time implementation in Paid media platforms. Push the creative boundaries, test for best performance and drive best practice.
- Collaborate and work with the media agency across Performance Media channels to meet agreed targets.
- Assist in driving partnerships with key tech providers.
- Ensure financial processes are followed accurately and timely.
- Monthly & Quarterly reporting.
- Work cross-functionally with Brand, eCom, Retail and Hub team stakeholders within Emerging Markets.
