Description:

REGISTERED PHARMACY TECHNICIAN WITH ACT ACCREDITATION:

Specialist Senior Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technician – Band 6
Hello!
My name is Lina and I am the Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technician Team Manager for Clinical Trials team in Oxford.
As a Senior Technician I am privileged to manage and support our fantastic team of Technicians, Assistants, Apprentices and rotational staff as we provide support services to research teams on all of our trust sites throughout Oxfordshire.
The Clinical Trials Pharmacy consists of Setting Up and Reviewing Pharmacists, Senior and Specialist Technicians, Senior Assistants, Apprentices and rotational staff. We work closely with research teams across the trust and external representatives.
If you are interested in an informal discussion about the Pharmacy Technician role offered within our team, then I would be very happy to chat with you about this. You are more than welcome to call on the numbers below or even better, we can make an appointment for me to show you around and answer your questions. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Although desirable, no previous experience in these areas is needed as full training will be provided.
I am very keen to hear from you if you are a Registered Pharmacy Technician with ACT accreditation, as we think this could be a great opportunity for you to progress in your career.
As a Specialist Senior Clinical Trials Set Up Technician in our team, you will have an extremely varied role – you will be involved in maintaining the supply chain of Clinical Trial medications to patients, maintaining financial records, preparation of IV doses in our aseptic unit, as well as maintaining your own portfolio of trials as the allocated technician, completing ACT slots and managing junior members of the team.
Please make sure that you read the job description and person specification attached and that your statement in support reflects this as your application will be judged against these criteria.
