As the premier provider of Space Domain Awareness (SDA) mission solutions for the United States Space Force, L3Harris is looking for a candidate to develop and maintain space Command and Control (C2) systems. L3Harris is seeking professionals to work in a dynamic environment to solve challenging technical problems. Individuals will perform C2 system software development, design, implementation, test, and configuration management. The ideal candidate should have experience with the full software development lifecycle. This position is onsite located in Colorado Springs, CO and requires a Secret Security Clearance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
  • Active U.S. DoD Secret Security clearance,
  • Ability to obtain U.S. DoD Top Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain Security+ certification in less than 60 days.
  • Experience developing software in Java.
  • Experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
  • Experience developing and deploying software using a CI/CD pipeline.
  • Experience with Agile software development and the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience utilizing team collaboration tools (Confluence, Jira, GitLab).

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

  • Active U.S. DoD Top Secret security clearance.
  • Active Security+ certification.
  • Experience developing software in Java using Spring Boot framework.
  • Experience developing software in C/C++ or Python.
  • Experience with Oracle databases.
  • Understanding of SDA mission data sets.
  • Working knowledge of Wildfly (JBoss) application server.
  • Experience with NIFI and how to configure NIFI flows.
  • Experience with Cloud Native Technologies (microservices, containers, Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps, etc.)
  • Excellent people skills, with experience leading and collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, & presentation).

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $83,000 - $154,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements. Responsibilities:
