JOB CONTENT

Develop and roll out Technical Training Materials & Training Events:

• Develop technical training programmes for the European Distributor network (new model launch and new technology introduction).
• Build technical training courses based on a hybrid approach, with focus on digital/eLearning/distance learning (i.e. Storyboarding, Learning Management System, knowledge).
• Facilitate and conduct Train–the–Trainer technical events for Distributors’ Master Trainers (32 EU countries).
• Build the central technical training curriculum based on engineering, product and various marketing assets.
• Ensure easy localisation for Distributor, for optimised deployment to local dealer network.
• Self-study operating and working principles of new vehicles / systems and translate into training materials.
• Close collaboration with MME’s training responsible for product/non-technical training.
• Plan, organize and execute web-based and in-person events related to technical training, diagnostics and special tools including full event logistics and management of suppliers.
• Participate in Training meetings with MMC (HQ Japan), OEM partners, suppliers & Distributors, to understand upstream manufacturer/ market requirements.
• Manage and secure relevant technical equipment for technical training (test vehicles, special tools, PPE, etc).

Workshop Diagnostics systems:

• Support and deployment to MME 20 European New Car Sales markets / 12 Aftersales Only markets.
• Liaise with MMC headquarters, OEM partners and other stakeholders, to prepare diagnostic solutions programmes (software, hardware).
• Advise MME/MMC HQ on optimal deployment of diagnostic solutions for the European Distributor (=>dealer) network.
• Support and close collaboration with relevant MME departments for OTA/FOTA processes, Cyber Security matters, installation and updates instructions.

Workshop Special Tools:

• Support to define and maintain MME Distributor/Dealer repair Special Tools programme (ICE, HEV, PHEV, LPG, EV).
• Support to define and maintain MME Distributor/Dealer High-Voltage Battery repair Special Tools programme.
• Support with technical advice for setup, test and trouble-shooting internal/external.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor in Automotive Technical Education
• Learning and Development experience (e.g. storyboarding, method, LMS)
• 6-8 years working experience in automotive training aftersales business (pan-European would be a plus), high level of technical and analytical skills
• Training experience in automotive diagnostics systems
• Experience with editing tools for training purposes (Photoshop, video, etc)
• Understanding of general EU regulatory landscape
• Self-starter/proactive attitude
• Good knowledge in Power Point and Excel
• English/Dutch (spoken/written)

As Specialist Technical Training & Solutions, reporting to the Manager Technical Training & Solutions, you will be responsible for the development and roll out of web-based and in-person technical training programs for the European Distributor network. You also support our European Distributor Network with Training programs for workshop Diagnostics systems and special tools. Working within a small and dynamic team in our office near Amsterdam and our Training Center in Nieuwegein, you will be an independent training professional.
