What you should know/have

  • BS or BA Degree required (concentration in Finance/Accounting/Legal preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or other similar role.
  • Advanced Google Sheets & Excel knowledge.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Outstanding analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Team player and collaborator with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with a high level of discretion

Responsibilities:

  • Administer all aspects of our various Total Rewards programs, including compensation, equity, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), bonus plans, and Paid Time Off (PTO).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data related to the plans you administer.
  • Maintain employee and award information in our equity portal and ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of grants and terminations.
  • Collect and organize equity awards and prepare executive summary information for presentation to the Board of Directors.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders & vendors to ensure accurate data flows, identify problem areas, and drive solutions.
  • Develop Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) communications plan and work closely with our broker from the enrollment period through the purchase period.
  • Organize, update, and maintain accuracy of compensation rate files.
  • Organize and maintain bonus plan accrual files in partnership with Accounting and Talent Development.
  • Process quarterly and annual bonus plan payments.
  • Point of contact for team members with related questions and assist with escalated inquiries.
  • Communicate plan provisions to employees and resolve employee issues and concerns.
  • Assist with Workday Paid Time Off plans design and testing.
  • Prepare custom reports and perform complex reconciliations to review accuracy of data.
  • Provide a superior customer experience to Carvana team members.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
  • Assist with compensation-related requests and projects.
  • Maintain organized Total Rewards records.
  • Respond in a timely manner to ad hoc data requests from Legal, People Operations, People Systems, Payroll, and Accounting.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you should know/have

We’d love it if you also have

  • Knowledge of equity-related accounting, tax, and legal concepts.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance matters as they relate to equity and compensation.
  • Stock plan administration for a publicly traded company.
  • Experience with Morgan Stanley Shareworks.
  • Experience with Workday.
