We are currently recruiting for a Specialist Underwriter - Power, Engineering and Renewable Energy to join our established and experienced Underwriting team here at RSA on a hybrid basis.
Your Role
This role involves working with selected brokers to optimise profitable growth from your selected broker accounts. You will apply a range of underwriting, relationship management and business development techniques to optimise sustainable profitable business growth. This applies to new and/or existing cases within our agreed process.
You will spend most of your time working with your selected brokers identifying, discussing, negotiating and converting new or existing business opportunities and making effective underwriting strategies.

About You
To be successful in your role as a Specialist Underwriter, you will require experience of underwriting Power, Engineering or Renewable Energy business. You will be able to build working relationships with insurance brokers and write profitable business to ensure growth of the account.
