Shoppers Drug Mart is looking to hire a Specialist within our Vaccine Partnerships team. This is a great opportunity for anyone planning to gain work experience in supply chain, inventory management, forecasting and vendor relations from Canada’s largest Pharmacy corporate head office.
The Specialist, Vaccine Partnerships is a key team member whose primary responsibility is inventory management to support our Pharmacy locations. The individual will be responsible for ensuring sufficient inventory is available to meet and maintain our in stock position for stores to order.
They will oversee inventory levels, interacting with internal teams, the Distribution Centre staff, and external partners as required to support their role. They will be responsible for vendor reporting, store communication content creation, the management and distribution process and procedures and ongoing tracking (including the day-to-day monitoring of inventory)
Additionally, the Specialist will be expected to support the broader Vaccine Partnerships team on projects and programs outside of inventory management as needed, e.g., Flu and COVID distribution, supporting vendor coordination, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specific duties include, but may not be limited to:
- Supply monitoring, ordering monitoring, expiry code reviews
- Vendor Billing coordination
- Vendor reporting
- Support budgeting and communication internally to finance
- Assisting in forecast development for vaccine programs, supporting wholesale distribution and reporting to provincial bodies
- Supporting general partnership activities (e.g., approvals through professional affairs and clinical, implementation of auto distributions, etc.)
