Titre du poste : Spécialiste avantages sociaux et congés
Le spécialiste avantages sociaux et congés est chargé d’administrer et de gérer les programmes d’avantages sociaux et les politiques en matière de congés conformément aux réglementations fédérales, provinciales et locales. Ce rôle consiste à assurer la conformité, à fournir un soutien aux employés et à traiter les demandes de renseignements relatives aux avantages sociaux et aux congés.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Formation : Baccalauréat en ressources humaines, en administration des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe.
- Expérience : Minimum de trois ans d’expérience dans l’administration des avantages sociaux et la gestion des congés, de préférence dans un contexte canadien.
- Connaissances : Forte compréhension de la législation canadienne en matière d’avantages sociaux et de congés, y compris des différences entre les provinces.
- Langues : La maîtrise de l’anglais et du français est requise. L’exigence de l’anglais est requise pour la documentation, les rapports et les interactions avec Santé Canada, FDA, et autres départements multidisciplinaires dans l’entreprise mais basés hors-Québec et hors-Canada (Espagne, USA).
- Compétences :
- Excellentes aptitudes à la communication et aux relations interpersonnelles.
- Solides capacités d’organisation et de gestion du temps.
- Souci du détail et de la précision.
- Maîtrise du SIRH et des systèmes de gestion des avantages sociaux.

Position title: Benefits and Leave Specialist
The Benefits and Leave Specialist is responsible for administering and managing the benefits programs and leave of absence policies accordance with federal, provincial, and local regulations. This role involves ensuring compliance, providing support to employees, and handling inquiries related to benefits and leave of absence.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in benefits administration and leave management, preferably in a Canadian context.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Canadian benefits and leave legislation, including provincial differences.

Responsibilities:
- Benefits Administration
- Manage the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs (e.g., health, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long-term disability, retirement plans).
- Provide support on enrollment of new employees in benefit plans and process changes, terminations, and updates.
- Coordinate enrollment process, including communication, education, and system updates.
- Liaise with insurance carriers, vendors, and consultants to resolve issues and ensure efficient plan administration.
- Conduct regular audits of benefits enrollments, deductions, and invoices for accuracy.

- Leave of Absence Management
- Administer all types of leaves.
- Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local laws.
- Process leave requests, maintain accurate records, and track leave balances.
- Communicate with employees regarding leave status, eligibility, and return-to-work procedures.
- Coordinate with payroll and other departments to ensure accurate processing of leave-related pay and benefits.
- Compliance and Reporting
- Stay up-to-date with changes in benefits and leave regulations and ensure company policies are compliant.
- Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of employee records and information.
- Support to Compensation Team
- Collaborate with the Compensation team to provide support on local compensation actions across Canada.
- Assist in the implementation of compensation programs and initiatives.
- Ensure alignment of benefits and leave policies with compensation strategies and practices.
- Employee Support and Communication
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding benefits and leave inquiries.
- Provide guidance and support to employees navigating the benefits and leave processes.
- Develop and distribute communication materials related to benefits and leave programs.
