  • Vous êtes titulaire d’un diplôme universitaire de licence ou de master en ingénierie ou domaine équivalent
  • >10 ans ou plus d’expérience dans les structures aérospatiales et/ou les fonctions de systèmes
  • Expérience avérée de travail avec le personnel du support client, de la production et de la chaîne d’approvisionnement pour comprendre les interactions interfonctionnelles dans le périmètre de la structure et du système.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication dans un contexte transnational.
  • Une expérience en architecture, en intégration ou dans un rôle d’ingénierie en chef serait un plus

The A220 Program is seeking candidates to join the Chief Engineering organization in the role of Airframe and system integration Architect.

Responsibilities:

THE CHIEF ENGINEERING TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES ARE THE FOLLOWING :

Translate and manage Program’s top level objectives into technical aircraft level requirements.
Provide technical arbitration at aircraft level on any trade-offs or deviations to program objectives.
Responsible for authorizing the product evolution against the aircraft level requirements
Chair of the Design Progress Meetings (DPM), Program Maturity Gates (MG) and PDR/CDR
Ensure A220 fleet continued airworthiness, Product Safety and Security
Responsible for Risks and Opportunities at aircraft level
Reporting functionally to the EU Head of Architecture & Integration (1I)
Lead the technical aspect of the A220 Product Policy
Lead A220 Mise Au Point (MAP)
In your role, you will report to the Head of Overall Physical Design (Airframe perimeter) within the Chief Engineering organization, and will be responsible to operate the Chief engineering responsibilities within cross-functional teams in charge of developments on specific areas of the aircraft (e.g. Fuselage, empennage, pylon, fairings, wing and system integration), and to lead transverse specific technical large-scale projects.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDES:

  • Defining aircraft requirements and objectives for design modifications in order to obtain an optimum airframe platform, and ensuring technical solutions comply with these requirements during the design process.
  • Build and lead a multi functional team to transverse technical projects across the overall Airframe and System perimeter.
  • Providing decisions on design and technology trade-offs in the best interest of the overall product strategy.
  • Guiding and motivating teams to deliver engineering solutions and modifications on schedule, and in compliance with product requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership for large-scale initiatives such as STEP projects or ACJ development when assigned, ensuring the development can be executed in line with technical and program objectives.
  • Work with Program teams to assign and manage priorities for engineering development in your assigned area
  • Foster collaboration with other engineering teams in Europe to capture experience, R&T portfolio, get support on common projects..
