Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as a Chef specializing in Pide and Lahmacun or similar roles.
- In-depth knowledge of traditional Turkish cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Strong culinary skills with the ability to create high-quality and visually appealing dishes.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Passion for cooking and commitment to delivering exceptional food experiences.
- Culinary degree or relevant certifications preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook Pide and Lahmacun according to traditional recipes and high standards.
- Develop and refine recipes to enhance flavor, texture, and presentation.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented in accordance with restaurant standards and customer expectations.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to ensure the availability of fresh ingredients.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on preparation techniques and best practices.
- Keep up-to-date with food trends and continually seek opportunities to innovate and improve menu offerings.
