Description:
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:
- Full GMC Registration with a license to practice
- Section 12 certification, or a commitment to work towards this.
- Mastery in the management of a broad range of mental disorders in children, including neurodevelopmental disorders
- At least 4 years of full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time basis) of which at least 2 years will be in a specialty training programme in a relevant specialty or as a fixed term specialty trainee or shall have equivalent experience and competencies

We are currently recruiting for a community CAMHS Learning Disability Specialty Doctor position in the Canterbury Learning disability CAMHS Community Team, based at George Turle House, 54 London Road, Canterbury, CT2 8JY. This is a new post, that has been created to provide high quality care.
You will join a full-time substantive Community CAMHS Learning Disability Consultant Psychiatrist within the service, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.
