Description:

To deliver a high standard of care to patients undergoing oral and maxillofacial surgical or medical treatment. The post holders will be responsible for the assessment of patient care needs, and implementation and evaluation of the programme of the care. The post holders are required to work as part of a team committed to delivering and improving a high standard of care within The Dudley Group NHS Foundation
The post is available immediately .
A team of two Oral and Maxillofacial Consultants and one Oral Surgeon Consultant at Russells Hall
Outpatient and DC and elective i n-patient work is carried out at Russells Hall Hospital. Most acute patients that require overnight stay will be seen at New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton (trauma and head & neck infections)
The post holder will support the Oral and Maxillofacial Consultants in the Outpatients Clinics and treat patients under local and general anaesthesia. The post holder will be responsible to the Oral and Maxillofacial Consultants and through them to the Clinical Director/ Clinical Service Lead.
There is no on-call commitments outside DGH facilities for this position .

Responsible for day-to-day management of a team of staff
Responsible for managing clinical caseload of staff
Responsible for analysing and reporting on clinical data
Responsible for development of policy and procedures for own area of responsibility
