Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team.
We are seeking an experienced speech and language support practitioner who is passionate about working with children and their families, and who wants to be part of a supportive and inclusive team. You will already have experience in delivering specific SALT interventions within your setting.
We pride ourselves on reflective, neurodiversity-affirming, and strength-based care.
We balance clinical appointments with other responsibilities and allocate significant time for intervention in every role.

WHAT OUR MOST RECENT RECRUITS SAID:

“When I first started, I felt so supported by everyone. We regularly check in on each other which is not something I experienced previously outside of the NHS–the emphasis on wellbeing in this team is fab. I feel as if I can always ask for support from anyone. I would think anyone lucky to be in this team, made even better by team days having fun together.”

We also provide health services to various prisons and detention centres in Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
NHFT promotes a culture of learning to improve the care and safety of our patients and staff, which focuses on people who enable our Trust to be ‘outstanding’ by supporting opportunity, innovation, development and growth.
