SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 5 Years of relevant experience in deployment/run support of Splunk, monitoring tools and Infrastructure support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience analyzing report data to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement in service delivery processes.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a related field preferred
Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Splunk developer, within the Banking Consulting Group, the person will be responsible to engage with client to provides development and support for Splunk and all associated integrations. The role will help support the migration of data sources and applications, along with helping implement key feature enhancements to support the network operations team. The ideal candidate has experience designing, implementing, and supporting scalable, high performing Splunk solutions. The person should be a subject matter expert in Splunk with 5 years of experience, having worked on large payments related data. This person will work closely with Client Business/IT team, service team and internal development team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Integrating Splunk with a wide variety of legacy data sources that use various protocols
- Design and develop Splunk apps, dashboards, and reports to address specific business requirements.
- Write and optimize complex search queries to extract and analyze data from diverse sources efficiently.
- Create and maintain data models to provide structured and normalized data for analysis.
- Implement data transformation and enrichment processes to enhance data quality and usefulness.
- Customize and extend existing Splunk apps to meet unique business needs and use cases.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data analysis needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Develop alerts and timed reports
- A passion for Analytics, for helping users share the stories and meaning in their data
- Experience in translating business requirements into concrete data analytic solutions
- Splunk training and/or certifications would be a major plus
