Band 5 - Full time position - 38 hours
The City of Monash is seeking a motivated, proactive and passionate person to join Council’s Active Monash - Recreation Services team. You will have an active role within the team as the Sports Club Liaison and Development Officer. The City of Monash is a pro-active and vibrant metropolitan Council with various sites throughout the municipality. Located in the eastern region, Monash is a cosmopolitan and culturally diverse city close to the demographic centre of Melbourne.

THE POSITION:

We are seeking a motivated individual who has the drive and passion to continually exceed customer’s expectations. Ideally you will have previous experience in a Local Government in Sport and Recreation or a similar industry. The position plays a critical role in effectively administering the coordination, evaluation and promotions of Council’s sporting facilities, with a focus on the delivery of Club development outcomes that support the Active Monash Club Development Framework to maximise use, increase participation and physical activity to meet the needs of the diverse Monash community.
The incumbent will act as the primary point of contact for all sporting clubs related enquires, allocate the use of all Council reserves and pavilions. Drive the effective and efficient sports ground management principles that supports and encourages club governance, growth and development within the City of Monash.
