SQL Cluster Consultant

We are searching for a proficient SQL Cluster Consultant to join our team based in Chesterfield, Missouri. This role is crucial in providing advisory guidance on SQL Server Cluster Builds. The position is a short term contract employment opportunity, offering the chance to contribute to a dynamic team within the tech industry.

• Provide expert advice on SQL always-on Clusters, particularly two nodes unit
• Utilize your skills in SQL Clustering to build and deploy SQL Server Clusters
• Ensure the Network Architecture is designed correctly from a redundancy and availability perspective
• Provide advisory support to team members on Network Engineering and Network Architecture matters
• Assist in the development and improvement of SQL Clustering processes and procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operation of SQL Clusters
• Use your knowledge of Network Engineering to advise on the Network Architecture
• Document all processes and procedures related to SQL Server Cluster builds
• Share knowledge and experience with team members to foster a collaborative learning environment
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in SQL Clustering and Network Architecture
• Demonstrated expertise in SQL Clustering is essential.
• Proficiency in Network Engineering is required.
• Experience in Network Architecture is necessary.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently when necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in a similar consultant role is beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining.
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
• Outstanding problem solver with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL.
• Must have a strong understanding of cluster concepts, Windows cluster services, and SQL Server technologies.
