Olleco is on a mission to help protect the planet, working together with thousands of foodservice businesses to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by hundreds and thousands of tonnes. We are now looking for a BI Analyst to join our team and help us to continue to do things the right way for customers, colleagues and the planet.
With over 1,000 colleagues in multiple sites nationwide delivering excellent performance, we supply premium cooking oils, and collect organic waste, which is then converted into bio-methane, electricity, heat and organic fertiliser. As a SQL Database Analyst based in our Blisworth Offices, you will be a fundamental part of our team, enabling us to continue with our mission to serve the planet, a purpose we care strongly about and are committed to.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases for various projects.
  • Write efficient and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Perform data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with other developers, testers, and project managers to ensure the quality and functionality of systems.
  • Perform database housekeeping such as tuning and indexing.
  • Discuss changes and problems within IT Team so solutions can be found.
  • Surface data and information to the business via reporting solutions such as SQL Server Reporting Services and Power BI.
  • Document and report your work progress and results.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of IT Systems the SQL Database Analyst will need to be in regular communication with all other managers within the business to ensure their expectations of the service they receive from the IT department are being met.
