Responsibilities:

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are urgently recruiting for an SQL Database Administrator to join our team in London, to help manage our SQL Server databases while driving database solutions that support our business goals.
If you have hands-on experience in AWS, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB Atlas, we want to hear from you!
This role requires a proactive problem solver who can work seamlessly across teams, ensuring smooth database performance, optimal configurations, and secure data management.

ROLE:

  • Manage and optimize SQL Server databases with high availability and performance
  • Configure and maintain database servers and processes for smooth, secure operations
  • Database Migrations
  • AWS database services
  • Multi-DB Support with PostgreSQL and MongoDB Atlas
  • Problem Resolution - Collaborate across DBA, application, and tech teams for efficient issue resolution
  • Perform monitoring, backups, troubleshooting, user maintenance, security, reporting, migrations, upgrades, and disaster recovery
  • Database Design - Work with application teams on database architecture to meet business needs
  • Automate routine tasks for efficiency and scalability.
  • Implement schema changes as directed by AppDev and assist in disaster recovery and data restoration processes
