DETAILS
- Sign-on bonus: Potential $5,000 sign-on bonus for 2+ years of ODS experience

REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s degree/Bachelor’s degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Responsibilities:
Utilize Electronic Registry Services/CRStar database to abstract patient data from electronic medical records for the application of tumor registries.
- Screening disease indices, pathology reports, radiology reports, and other clinical documents to identify reportable cancer cases for casefinding
- Abstracting and coding required core data items from medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform primary data abstraction duties for clinical measures and registries while ensuring high levels of abstraction accuracy and ensure alignment with organizational quality standards
- May assist in compiling data into reports for analysis by various departments and cancer committees and act as liaison between clinical improvement teams to interpret standards and specifications.
- May assist in reporting to centralized/state registries and to the National Data Cancer Database and/or RCRS
- Maintain cancer registry database which may include loading import files, generating and working data status reports in compliance with regulatory requirements and timeframes.
- Identify and communicate trends in clinical data to leadership.
