Sr. Accountant - Construction/Interior Fit-out Experience

• Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Oversee accounts payable processes including invoice verification, approval, and payment processing.
• Manage accounts receivable functions such as invoicing, collections, and credit control.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiate contracts, and review terms and conditions.
• Monitor vendor performance and resolve any billing or payment discrepancies.
• Prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time, including VAT, income tax, and other relevant taxes.
• Establish and maintain financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in accounting and finance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in the interior fit-out or construction industry
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills
• Problem solving skills
• Commercial awareness
• Teamworking skills
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Quickbooks, Dynamics 365) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
  Contract length: 24 months
