Description:

This company focus on Family Office business and due to promotion, company is seeking experienced Senior Accountant with the following responsibilities: : Support operations with full cycle accounting Uphold accounting principles in line with GAAP, IFRS, and internal practices Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive data Provide premium customer service to both internal and external clients Join and contribute to our team-oriented culture Implement improvements in accounting processes Sustain documentation for crucial accounting procedures Manage accounting for particular family entities (A/R, A/P, G/L) Assist with monthly general ledger close Prepare routine and necessary journal entries Analyze, produce, and manage intercompany entries Maintain well-documented paperwork for journal entries and account reconciliations Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve differences promptly Compares actual to budgeted results and explains variances Help develop complex financial statement schedules Evaluate monthly and year-end financial data for accuracy Assist in purchase card matters and support BUs/field teams Aid with preparing audit schedules, audit footnotes, tax schedules, and tax forms Serve as SME for the general ledger and financial control processes Apply accounting policy to complex issues and communicate effectively to senior management. Research and resolve accounting question and issues promptly Maintain checklists and logging systems to ensure financial completeness Fulfill ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as required Act as backup for areas such as A/P, G/L accounting, purchase cards, intercompany Candidates should have: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 3-6 years of relevant experience in an accounting environment A certification as a Public Accountant (CPA) or evidence of working towards it Prior Family Office experience, HNW experience Strong understanding of GAAP Effective communication skills Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office, knowledge of Dynamics 365, Spreadsheet Server, Power BI, and Concur are preferred.

  • Must possess advanced skills in Microsoft Excel • Must have experience in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations • Familiarity with General Ledger management and Journal Entries is essential • Must be capable of handling Month End Close procedures • Experience in the automotive industry is a plus • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required • detail oriented certification such as CPA is preferred • Proven ability to work with a team and independently • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Must have good organizational and time management skills • Must demonstrate high levels of integrity and confidentiality.
