We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in STREETSBORO, Ohio, 44241-1636, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of finance functions including balance sheet and account reconciliations, managing assets, and participating in month-end close activities. This role will also involve various ad hoc projects.

• Handle all assigned balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
• Aid in the preparation of account reconciliations.
• Assist with the annual audit.
• Manage project time input and prepaids.
• Communicate effectively with both internal and external personnel and managers.
• Participate in the month-end close process.
• Perform other administrative duties and ad hoc analyses as necessary.
• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP.
• Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
• Possess a strong understanding and hands-on experience with Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations.
• Proficiency in managing General Ledger and preparing Journal Entries.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel is a must for data analysis and financial modeling.
• Experience in handling Month End Close processes efficiently and accurately.
• Familiarity with accounting software including NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP is required.
• Ability to work independently, manage large amounts of data, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is preferred.
• Proven experience in a similar senior accounting role.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
• Ability to lean into the details while also understanding and contributing to the bigger picture.
