Sr. Accountant

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the Real Estate & Property industry. Based in Dallas, Texas, this role is pivotal in maintaining financial records and ensuring the smooth running of our financial operations. This is working a hybrid schedule in the Addison area.

Must have strong GL Accounting background
All GL Accounting – including items like HOA Payments, Accruals, Tax journal entries
Every property is a unit & they have standalone financial statements for every property
Data uploads for all property taxes
Must understand accounting & reviews

• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of five years’ experience in accounting or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with General Ledger and Journal Entries.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrable experience in Month End Close processes.
• Prior experience in Real Estate & Property industry is preferred.
• Proficiency in using Yardi Software and Yardi Voyager.
• Experience in Property Accounting.
