Description:
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant for a client located in Portland, Oregon. To be considered for this opportunity, you should be comfortable working within a fast-paced environment. The focus of this role is managing financial tasks, including sales order processing, inventory transactions, and account reconciliations.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing sales order reports to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Processing sales order shipments for invoicing and ensuring the correctness of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)
- Conducting inventory transactions and physical inventory corrections as necessary
- Managing fixed assets to ensure accurate record-keeping
- Making journal entries to update the company’s financial records
- Performing reconciliations of balance sheets and bank statements
- Utilizing Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting
- Conducting month-end close procedures to finalize financial records
- Must possess expertise in Account Reconciliation
- Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is necessary
- Should have a strong understanding of the General Ledger
- Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
- Must have experience in handling Month End Close procedures
